An issue that matters to me is [youth] leadership. As I observed the leadership pursuits of my peers, I saw how easily good intentioned-leaders became corrupted leaders, and how charismatic leaders became narcissistic. Some leaders that I admire in history are Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, and Nelson Mandela who not only voiced the many injustices against people of African descent, but who also called for equality for all. TIG has helped me/us achieve a lot in terms of offering a forum to interact with young people from all over the world to share experience and even meet to discus great things. I have made great friends who have ended up changing my perception on many things. I did meet these people on TIG. I share a lot of things, some very personal with people I have never met or even seen, but with whom we really feel compatible. I met these people on TIG.
